Prince William and Kate Middleton celebrated their 10th anniversary on Thursday.
The couple were university sweethearts – William famously watched a charity fashion show, and when Kate modelled down the runway, she immediately caught his eye. Almost a decade later, the two married at Westminster Abbey on 29 April 2011 in a fairytale wedding and went on to welcome three children together: Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
"Thank you to everyone for the kind messages on our wedding anniversary," the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge wrote on social media on Thursday, shortly after sharing new photos together at their home in Kensington Palace. "We are enormously grateful for the 10 years of support we have received in our lives as a family."
The note was shared alongside a clip of William and Kate with George, Charlotte and Louis, giving royal watchers a rare look into their family life with footage of them visiting the beach, playing in the garden and toasting marshmallows.
The video, captured by Will Warr and set to Andrew Osenga's The Rain, was shot in autumn 2020 (SA's spring) in Norfolk at the Cambridges' country home.
