The nominees for the 2022 MTV Movie and TV Awards have been announced.

This year the MTV Movie & TV Awards and the Movie & TV Awards: Unscripted – which celebrates reality TV - will both air live on 5 June from the Barker Hanger in Los Angeles. The channel is calling the event a one-night-only global event.

Leading the scripted nominees are Spider-Man: No Way Home, Euphoria, and The Batman. RuPaul's Drag Race, Selling Sunset, and Summer House lead the unscripted categories.

Two new categories - Best Song and Here for the Hookup - have been added to the Movie & TV Awards. The Unscripted awards announced four new categories: Best Reality Return, Best Music Documentary, Best Reality Romance, and Best Reality Star.
