Cape Town - David Schwimmer is throwing in his hat to play the next James Bond.

The Friends star plays a special agent in the limited series, Intelligence.

During an interview with GQ Magazine, the 53-year-old shared that he would "jump at the chance" to play the next James Bond when Daniel Craig vacates the role of 007.

But his Bond would be unconventional.

"If I were offered to play James Bond – which will never happen in a million years – of course, I would jump at the chance. It would be a really ridiculous comedy," said David.
