With the filming of Jackass 4 underway, it's clear that Bam Margera will not be appearing in the latest comedy in the stunt movie franchise.

The director of the film, Jeff Tremaine, was successfully granted a restraining order against the former cast member after he made threats against Jeff's wife and kids.

Johnny Knoxville has also opened up about the incident in a recent interview with GQ, saying: "We want Bam to be happy and healthy and get the help he needs. We tried to push that along. I think that’s all I really want to say about it."

The 50-year-old later added, "I don’t want to get into a public back-and-forth with Bam. I just want him to get better."

Bam told GQ it "hurts his heart" that he can't be part of the lastest film as he's "waited 10 years for this".

According to reports Bam broke his contract due to mandates related to his substance abuse.
