It's been six years since News24's Entertainment and Lifestyle Editor, Herman Eloff, met Milla Jovovich in Cape Town. Now years later they meet again, online, in a very different world that almost seems as apocalyptic as the settings in the star's action films.

The first time I met Milla Jovovich was in October 2015, just outside Cape Town on the set of Resident Evil: The Final Chapter.

It was well past midnight when she wrapped up filming and invited a small group of journalists into her trailer to talk about the film that would be released in cinemas in January 2017. I never forgot seeing her in her costume, covered in soot and artificial bruises, wearing a pair of comfy slippers and sipping on a beer.
