Cape Town – The day that every Star Wars fan has been waiting for has finally arrived. 

The much-anticipated next instalment of the franchise, The Last Jedi opens in cinemas this weekend.

In an interview with the Associated Press actor Mark Hamill says the space saga offers a perfect escape during this dark era. 

And according to our reviewer this just might be the best Star Wars movie ever.
