Cape Town – It might just be eight minutes – but this is going to be the best dinosaur movie you've seen this year.

Drama, action, and a dino fight - this thrilling short will have you at the edge of your seat.

Director Colin Trevorrow takes fans back into Jurassic World with a brand new short – Battle at Big Rock.

According to The Guardian, the movie was filmed in secret and released on FX network over the weekend.

It takes place one year after the events of the last Jurassic World film in Big Rock National Park, where dinosaurs are now living in our world. The story follows a family of five (André Holland, Natalie Martinez, Melody Hurd, Pierson Salvador, Noah and Ethan Cole) whose encounter with these wild animals become a terrifying fight for survival.
