Vin Diesel will wrap up Dominic Toretto's story in the Fast & Furious franchise with two more films.

In an interview with The Associated Press, the 53-year-old confirmed that the saga would wrap with 10 Part 1 and Part 2.

"Every story deserves its ending. It won't be the end of the Fast universe, but in terms of this saga, Fast 10 will be the finale."

Director Justin Lin added that Fast 9 - which will be released on 25 June - is the first film of the final chapters.

"We're reconfiguring everything so that the next two movies should wrap up this amazing journey for these characters."

"This was a franchise born from the pavement, from the concrete, and the world just championed this underdog. But the franchise has a soul, and that soul has to rest", said Vin.

Fast 9 will follow the events of The Fate of the Furious. Dominic (Diesel) and the family must face his younger brother, Jakob (John Cena), who has teamed up with their old enemy, Cipher (Charlize Theron).
