Vin Diesel's 10-year-old son is joining the Fast & Furious family.

Entertainment Weekly reports that Vincent Sinclair will make his film debut in Fast 9.

According to TMZ, Vincent will be playing a younger version of his dad's character, Dominic Toretto and that the scenes were filmed in 2019. In Furious 7 an actor named Alex McGee played a young Dominic in a flashback scene.

The ninth instalment in the franchise has been delayed to 25 June. It will follow the events of The Fate of the Furious. Dominic Torreto (Vin Diesel) and the family must face his younger brother, Jakob (John Cena), who has teamed up with their old enemy, Cipher (Charlize Theron).

In October last year, Deadline reported that the saga would wrap up with two final films.
