According to Entertainment Weekly, it is the most of expensive acquisition in the festival's history.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly Andy said he was drawn to the project because of the script and the mixing of genres.
Speaking about the film director Max Barbakow told Variety that the film is not a typical romantic comedy.
"We're subverting a lot of the tropes you usually see in wedding movies and rom-coms. Tonally, it's that really nice charged area between laughter and deep feeling and then just bonkers stuff."
The film releases on 10 July on Hulu.
