Adele is hosting Saturday Night Live and fans think she may be dropping new music too.
The singer's excitement was tangible when she announced on social media that she would be hosting SNL, telling followers that she was also "absolutely terrified".
"My first ever hosting gig and for SNL of all things!!!! I've always wanted to do it as a stand alone moment, so that I could roll up my sleeves and fully throw myself into it, but the time has never been right. But if there was ever a time for any of us to jump head first into the deep end with our eyes closed and hope for the best it's 2020 right?" she wrote.
The singer, who recently showed off her incredible weight loss transformation, added that the opportunity comes exactly 12 years after she first appeared on SNL, saying that her initial appearance, which also happened during an election, helped establish her career in America.
She added: "So it feels full circle and I just couldn't possibly say no!"
The singer trended on Twitter after the announcement, with some fans even speculating that she could be releasing new music.
Her last studio album, 25, was released in 2015. So yes, we're ready and super excited for something new to drop.
