TIME magazine has named BTS their Entertainer of the Year.
The K-Pop group took 2020 by storm, releasing their smash hit Dynamite, as well as their highly anticipated album BE.
"Between releasing multiple albums and breaking every type of record in 2020, the Korean pop band ascended to the zenith of pop stardom," Time captioned a post on Instagram.
"We climbed our way up slowly, so it feels like we grew together. And we know each other on a deeper level," band member Jungkook told the publication.
The group also gave a special performance of Dynamite.

The announcement comes as TIME's annual Person of the Year issue is released. This year, the magazine crowned US president-elect Joe Biden and vice president-elect Kamala Harris as their Persons of the Year.
