Drake has officially become the first artist to surpass 50 billion combined streams on Spotify.
While reports of the rapper's achievement floated around the past few days, a representative for Spotify has now confirmed the news to Variety.
According to the publication, the Canadian star's 2018 hit God's Plan alone racked up 1. 675 billion streams. Meaning that, while his achievement is impressive, it's not all that surprising.
