Cape Town – Tech mogul Elon Musk is now a rapper.

The businessman – who was born in South Africa – has released an incredibly autotuned ode to Harambe, the gorilla.

The fittingly titled RIP Harambe has lyrics like "We love you Harambe" and "Sipping on some Bombay/We on our way to heaven".

Elon tweeted a link to the track, along with another tweet, saying: "I'm disappointed that my record label failed."

The song has already amassed over half a million listens at the time of writing with many highlighting the fact that it was released just before April Fool's Day in the comments section.
