'I miss my friend so much' - Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr remember George Harrison

On Tuesday, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr paid tribute to their former Beatles band member and friend George Harrison on the 20th anniversary of his passing.

George died from lung cancer on 29 November 2001.

Taking to Twitter, Paul McCartney shared a photo of himself with George, writing: "Hard to believe that we lost George 20 years ago. I miss my friend so much. Love Paul."

In a post on Instagram, Ringo captioned a picture of him and George: "Peace and love to you George I miss you man. Peace and love Ringo."
