
The nominees for the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) have been announced, and Canadian star Justin Bieber is leading the pack.
The 27-year-old singer has received seven nods for this year's ceremony, including Video of the Year and Artist of the Year.
Following closely behind is Megan Thee Stallion, with six nominations. Tied up with five nominations each are Billie Eilish, BTS, Doja Cat Drake, Lil Nas X, Olivia Rodrigo and Giveon.
Fighting it out for the coveted Video of the Year Award are Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion with WAP, DJ Khaled and Drake with Popstar, Doja Cat and SZA with Kiss Me More, Ed Sheeran's Bad Habits, Lil Nas X for Montero (Call Me by Your Name), and The Weeknd with Save Your Tears.
Nominees in the Artist of the Year category are Ariana Grande, Doja Cat, Justin Bieber, Megan Thee Stallion, Olivia Rodrigo, and Taylor Swift.
For Song of the Year, these are the stars going head-to-head: 24Goldn ft Iann with Mood, Silk Sonic with Leave the Door Open, BTS with Dynamite, Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion with WAP, Dua Lipa with Levitating, and Olivia Rodrigo with Drivers License.
