Lauryn Hill's debut album, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, has reached diamond status in the US.
In order to achieve this feat, artists have to sell over 10 million copies.
The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) made the announcement via Twitter on Wednesday.
"Welcome to the RIAA Diamond Club @MsLaurynHill!" the post reads.
While Lauryn is not the first female musician to achieve diamond status, she is the first female rapper to do so, taking her place among artists like Eminem and 2Pac.
The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill achieved immediate commercial success upon it's release in 1998, debuting at number one on the US chart and peaking at number two in the UK, according to NME.
The record has sold over 20 million copies internationally, the publication adds.
