It's a new week, and that means new music! Here are four new tracks, from the African continent and across the ocean, to add to your playlist this weekend.

James Bay

British singer James Bay has been teasing fans with a new single for days, and now it's finally here. Chew On My Heart was released on Friday.

Speaking about the single, which is the first from his upcoming album, James said: "Chew On My Heart is a great example of releasing something positive about myself publicly for the first time."

He added: "It's an outpouring of love, and that's a huge theme across this new music. When I come home from tour, I burst through the door and throw my arms around my girl, and she'll just say, 'Okay, relax, cool.' It's cheesy, but I wrote it from that perspective. It's the opposite of being guarded."

Tiwa Savage

Bob your head along to the smooth sounds of Tiwa Savage. The Nigerian star released Dangerous Love this week with a music video to accompany the track as well. The song is the first official single from her fourth studio album, Celia, named after her mother.

Tiwa describes Dangerous Love as a "vibe", and she's right. The song is the perfect soundtrack to the weekend. "It's a song that is basically about a girl who is dipping in and out of a 'relationship' with a guy that really doesn't deserve her time or attention. She knows that he is bad for her but she's gambling with her heart anyway," she added, saying that almost everyone could relate to the song.

"I wrote this song when I was coming through one of the darkest periods of my life," Katy said.

With the cold settling in, this song will bring a bit of sunshine to your weekend.
