Adele has shared a sneak peek of her upcoming single Easy on Me, and we love it already.

The singer gave fans a teaser of the song on Instagram Live, saying that she "might get in trouble for playing it", writes Harper's Bazaar

With a piano-led melody and haunting lyrics, the track definitely has that Adele feel to it.

"There ain't no gold in this river/That I've been washing my hands in forever/I know there is hope in these waters/But I can't bring myself to swim when I am drowning in this silence, baby let me in," Adele says in the song.

Sadly, that's all we get for now. In the Instagram video, the singer cuts the tune just as the chorus comes in.

Easy on Me is due for release on 15 October. It will be Adele's first new release in six years.
