After a short hiatus, Craig Lucas has released a new song featuring GoodLuck titled, Better.
The Hearts Exposed singer, who shared news of the release on Twitter, wrote: "Better is here. Stream it. Share it. Dance to it. Tag someone you love to let them know how much they mean to you. Give them a hug. Hug a stranger. God knows we need it. It gets better."
It’s release day. Better is here. Stream it. Share it. Dance to it. Tag someone you love to let them know how much they mean to you. Give them a hug. Hug a stranger. God knows we need it. It gets better. @Goodlucklive

The Voice SA winner said, "it's also the song we didn't know we needed until we wrote it."
Lucas explained in a press statement that the song started during Covid-19 as a love letter to the amazing people in their lives who supported and loved them during a tough time.
"We started the song a while ago, but it couldn't be more relevant right now. Jules said this song was one the world didn't know they needed until they heard it, and I completely agree."
"I love that this song also speaks to the fragile state of mental health in so many of us right now... it is just not spoken about enough. We are using the opportunity with 'Better' to try and spread further awareness about depression and anxiety because there is still a pretty shameful stigma about speaking about it, and that is really the only way someone can actually deal with it," added Jules.
