After a busy year, Megan Thee Stallion has announced that she will be taking a break and will return "when it's time".

The rapper first shared a post of herself on Instagram wearing a futurist looking mask, then followed that up with a digitally produced clip of her in a water tank wearing a breathing apparatus along with a bodysuit that is reflective of her Good News album cover.

A third post was a close up of a computer screen with the words: "Megan Thee Stallion is recharging! Due to demands of the Hot Girl lifestyle has now entered a period of regeneration to prepare for what's next [sic]."

It continued: "In her absence; mgmt. will manage all social posting on behalf of Thee Hot Girl Coach. [[Thee Hotties]] lead a brave //RESISTANCE in anticipation for the return of their Fearless Captain! [sic]"

On Twitter, Megan wrote: "I'll be back when it's time," followed by the fire emoji.

The rapper has had quite the year with the release of her debut studio album Good News in 2020, which featured hits like Body and the Savage Remix. Megan also had everyone talking when she jumped on Cardi B's smash hit WAP.
