Lil Nas X has released the video for his new track, Industry Baby.
The song features Jack Harlow and was co-produced by Kanye West.
A few days prior to its release, Lil Nas X shared a prelude to the music video. The short clip showed the star in court, poking fun at the drama that ensued after the release of his "Satan Shoes" earlier this year.
The sneakers were customised Nike Air Max 97s created by a company called MSCHF. Nike, who released a statement saying they were not involved with the shoes, ended up filing an infringement lawsuit against MSCHF.
In the beginning of the official video for Industry Baby, Lil Nas X is sentenced to five years in Montero State Prison after the mock trial.
The rest of the video then plays out in a jail setting, with all prisoners dressed in bright pink uniforms.
Scenes include naked dancers in the shower and sees Nas eventually escaping.
Other than providing entertainment for his fans, the video also serves another purpose. Industry Baby has been marked as a fundraiser on YouTube, which means viewers will have the option to donate to The Bail Project under Lil Nas X's Bail X Fund.
A note from the rapper on the Bail Project site reads: "Music is the way I fight for liberation. It's my act of resistance. But I also know that true freedom requires real change in how the criminal justice system works. Starting with cash bail."
The note continues: "So I'm doing something about it and I invite you to join me. Ending cash bail is one of the most important civil rights issues of our time. Donate what you can to the Bail X Fund."
