Even though Taylor Swift's re-recorded Fearless album will be eligible for consideration at the 2022 Grammy Awards, the singer has made the decision not to submit the record.

According to a Republic Records statement shared by Billboard, Taylor "will not be submitting Fearless (Taylor's Version) in any category at this year's upcoming Grammy and CMA Awards."

It continues: "Fearless has already won four Grammys including album of the year, as well as the CMA Award for album of the year in 2009/2010 and remains the most awarded country album of all time."

Instead, Taylor will submit her evermore album for Grammy consideration. The decision allows voters to focus all attention on evermore, rather than potentially split votes between evermore and Fearless (Taylor's Version)

The 64th annual Grammy Awards will be broadcast live from the Staples Centre in Los Angeles on 31 January 2022.
