Canadian star The Weeknd has responded after being side-lined at the 2021 Grammys.
The singer, who released his album After Hours in March, was absent from the list of nominees announced on Tuesday, and everyone noticed.
With the success of his 2020 hit Blinding Lights, which peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and spent 51 weeks on the chart, it came as a shock to many that the star was not recognised.
Taking to Twitter to vent, The Weeknd wrote: "The Grammys remain corrupt. You owe me, my fans and the industry transparency."
