Trevor Noah on his Grammy nomination: 'What a life I've been blessed enough to live'

Cape Town – South African comedian and all-around lovely guy Trevor Noah has been nominated for a Grammy.

No, not for a mixtape he released on the sly, but for the audio recording of his stand-up special Trevor Noah: Son of Patricia.

You can watch the comedy special right now on Netflix if you need a laugh about the talented funny man's life in South Africa and beyond. 

The category is filled with other big names like Ellen Degeneres and Dave Chappelle amongst others, so in his post, about this significant career achievement The Daily Show host decided to give a shout out to all of his idols. 

The most special line goes to his mother though. He wrote: "What a life I've been blessed enough to live. Thank you, mom."
