Trevor Noah returns as host of 2022 Grammys

South African comedian Trevor Noah will return as the host for the 64th annual Grammy Awards.

This will be the Daily Show star's second year hosting the biggest night in music after first hosting the 63rd Grammys in 2020, where he was also nominated for Best Comedy Album.

"And just like that, he's back!" the Recording Academy wrote, sharing the news on social media.

"Award-winning host and comedian @trevornoah of "@TheDailyShow" fame will return for his second year as host of the #GRAMMYs, broadcasting live from @cryptocomarena in Los Angeles Mon, Jan. 31," the post reads.

Sharing the news on his own Instagram account, Trevor wrote: "Excited to be back, hosting the #Grammys this year!"

The 64th annual Grammy Awards takes place on 31 January 2022.
