Netflix has released the first trailer for its upcoming documentary on Notorious B.I.G., titled Biggie: I Got A Story to Tell.
The clip features footage of the legendary rapper filmed by his best friend Damion 'D-Roc' Butler, as well as sit down interviews with close family and friends including Biggie's mother, Violetta Wallace.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the documentary was made in collaboration with Biggie's estate.
"Biggie blew up overnight - we have no origins from what rap planet this guy came from," Sean Combs (Diddy), who was also an executive producer on the project, says in the trailer.
"I was happy that he was making something with his life," Violetta says.
Notorious B.I.G., real name Christopher Wallace, was gunned down in 1997 at the age of 24.
Biggie: I Got A Story to Tell premieres on Netflix on 1 March.
