Taylor Swift has finally released the video for her song, The Man on Thursday afternoon.

In case you haven't heard the song yet, the lyrics - which are showcased by a catchy beat – highlight the sexist double standards that women are subjected to daily.

Some of the lyrics in the chorus are: "I'm so sick of running/As fast as I can/Wondering if I'd get there quicker/If I was a man/And I'm so sick of them/Coming at me again/'Cause if I was a man/Then I'd be the man."

Taylor wrote, starred in and directed the video, which makes reference to The Wolf of Wall Street, a film that starred Leonardo DiCaprio, who is namechecked in the song.

The Man is featured on Taylor's chart topping album, Lover, which was released last year.
