Channel24's International News Editor, Bashiera Parker recently spoke to James Marsden in a roundtable interview about his role in The Stand.

Stephen King published The Stand in 1978. The post-apocalyptic dark fantasy novel tells the story of a community having to rebuild itself after a deadly virus wipes out 99.4% of the population. Eerily familiar, we know.

The 1 152-page novel sees the survivors unite, all the while being pulled by sources of good and evil in the form of Mother Abagail (Whoopi Goldberg) situated in Boulder and the Dark Man, Randall Flagg (Alexander Skarsgård) in Las Vegas.
