Three years after being crowned Miss Universe 2017, Demi-Leigh Tebow wears a Miss Universe crown again.
"Reliving 26 Nov 2017 all over again. This is the sweetest gesture! @missuniverse and @mouawad teamed up and made the Universal Power tiara as a keepsake for the former titleholders," Demi-Leigh captioned a photo wearing the sparkly tiara.
"We're not able to keep our original crowns, so this is such a beautiful memory of the incredible honor it was to represent South Africa as the 66th Miss Universe. Forever grateful for the experience, platform and responsibility this title has given me," she said in the post.
On 26 November 2017, Demi-Leigh set the wheels in motion for the country's first-ever "sandwich win" at an international pageant - and nope, it has nothing to do with a ham and cheese sammie.

The term is used to describe a victory when a country secures a win on alternate years. When a country wins the pageant in the first year, does not win the next year, but is crowned again in the third year, it's referred to as a sandwich win.
Demi-Leigh is the second South African to win the title, after Margaret Gardiner in 1978. Zozibini Tunzi brought home the crown for the third time in 2019.
