A virtual memorial service for South African author and chef Dorah Sitole will be held on Thursday.
An accomplished food writer, food stylist, recipe developer and a trained Cordon Bleu chef, Dorah, died on Sunday in Johannesburg.
She was 67 years old.
Human & Rousseau publishers released a statement following Dorah's death confirming that she died of "Covid complications."
"Dorah was a significant icon, respected and loved by all who met her," the statement said.
The memorial service will broadcast online here on Thursday from 12:00 to 14:00.
