Miss SA Lalela Mswane gets her new ride!

KwaZulu-Natal's Lalela Mswane was crowned Miss South Africa 2021 at the glittering pageant finale held at Grand Arena, GrandWest in Cape Town, on 16 October. 

"I don't even know where to start. My heart is filled with so much gratitude. I'm so appreciative. Thank you," Lalela said in an interview shortly after being crowned.  

As the newly crowned Miss South Africa, Lalela receives R1 million in cash as well as a further R3 million worth of sponsorships and prizes, including the use of a fully furnished and serviced apartment at the luxurious Central Square Sandton, with fabulous interior décor by Vursa, and a Mercedes Benz C-Class Sedan for the year of her reign.

On Tuesday, Lalela received the keys to her Mercedes Benz C-Class Sedan. "..words cannot describe how absolutely excited I am to drive my new baby! A million thank you's," the 24-year-old wrote in an Instagram post.

According to the Mercedes Benz website, the C-Class Sedan starts at R849 000.
