In a sweet Instagram post, Mohale Motaung wrote a birthday message to his husband, Idols SA judge Somizi Mhlongo.
Mohale captioned a photo from the couple's wedding day with the qualities that make Somizi a "stellar partner".
"If someone sat down and tried to outline the qualities that a stellar partner has, I'm sure the list of qualities would include things like loving, caring, kind, sympathetic, strong, compassionate, astute, intelligent, hardworking, driven, humorous...
"...and little would that person writing that list know that they were describing you," he wrote in the post.
"Happy birthday, HubStar," he ended off the celebratory message.
Mohale later posted a photo of Somizi's elaborate birthday cake, which featured elements of his favourite things - including his cookbook and luxury fashion labels.
