Cape Town - The nightclub Rich Durban has been listed as one of the most exceptional clubs in the world by the global network: The World's Finest Clubs.

The World's Finest Clubs is the first and only curated network of the most exciting and exclusive Club Venues in the world.

According to the website, venues are hand-selected and awarded with the prestigious World's Finest Clubs Award for providing world-class nightlife experience, service, venue design and cuisine.

Rich Durban is the first champagne and cigar lounge to hit the local Durban scene mid last year and boasts a remarkable modern design, state-of-the-art sound system and overwhelming attention to detail.

The venue proved extremely impressive with an atmosphere amplified with some of the best national and international artists bringing the beat.

The world-class venue has hosted local and international stars like French Montana, Migos, Ne-Yo and even SA's most prominent export Black Coffee.

Rich Clubs falls under The Taboo Group who are synonymous with 5-star lifestyle and clubbing culture across South Africa and is owned by nightlife moguls Chris Coutroulis and Kgolo 'Daguru' Mthembu.

"I'm truly humbled that we have been recognised internationally. We believe Durban nightlife has the potential to be like our counterparts in Miami and Ibiza where people travel to a party in a club. Durban is an international party destination, and this acknowledgement solidifies what we already know, " said co-owner Kgolo Mthembu.

Situated in the heart of the city (47 Intersite Ave, Umgeni Business Park), this Durban venue is described as "the ultimate experience in elegant lounging and sophistication".
