Miss Universe South Africa Natasha Joubert is back in South Africa after competing in the 69th edition of the Miss Universe pageant last month.

Despite not securing a spot in the top 21, Natasha made the country proud and, in an Instagram post, said: "I'm proud of the work we have done, the way we competed and for always staying true to myself."

Following the pageant, Natasha spent time with former Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Tebow and her husband Tim in Jacksonville. A series of Instagram photos posted by the beauty queens showed them soaking up the sun at the beach, enjoying a waffle cone and doing some sightseeing.

"I couldn't be happier. I'm back, back in my home country," Natasha said in a video on her Instagram Stories on Thursday.

"Home is where the heart is. I'm back in my beautiful South Africa," she went on to caption a photo on Instagram.

Previously, Natasha said she is excited to continue working on her Destiny Designed project and get started on her clothing line after she returns to South Africa.

"I want to do a ready-to-wear collection, do more modelling work. I'm really excited for what's ahead," she said.
