Johannesburg – Miss Universe Catriona Gray made the most of her time in South Africa, going on Safari while here for the Miss SA pageant.

The beauty queen was one of the five judges for the 61st Miss South Africa pageant which saw Zozibini Tunzi crowned as the winner.

After the pageant Catriona took some time to enjoy the beauty of South Africa, going on her first ever safari and sharing a few pictures on her Instagram account.

"So I was praying to see lions up close and heard in my spirit just to wait. So I was sitting there, 15mins passed by and I was just thinking about how creative God is to create all these animals and scenery. And suddenly we turn a bend and there is a family of lions walking right in front of us (sic)," Catriona wrote, captioning a beautiful photograph of a pride of lions.
