Following his recent loss to rapper and businessman Cassper Nyovest in the boxing ring, rapper Priddy Ugly has opened up about overcoming trying times in recent months.

Priddy Ugly lost to Nyovest at the Celeb City 2 boxing exhibition at the SunBet arena at Time Square last week. Nyovest, by knockout, claimed victory against Ugly in the first two minutes of the first round.

"If you knew what we had to overcome these last few months just to be able to stand today, you'd never doubt God's existence and mercy," he wrote in a caption to a series of photos of himself. "I'm allowed to be flawed, and I get to rest without guilt. It feels great; I'm feeling blessed and grateful for life."

He added that for the first time in his life, he did not feel pressure to be immortal, outperform anyone or over-deliver like an untouchable character in an anime series.

"I get to be human, but still a hero to my daughter and a champion to my family," he continued in the caption. "PS: It's okay to laugh when you see me; let's laugh together – stop being so serious. Life is beautiful."
