Johannesburg – For the past two weeks KFM has teased listeners with marketing campaigns about their new Sunday lineup and now the cat is finally our of the bag.

After a five year hiatus, presenter Saskia Falken is making her return to radio, joining KFM as the host of the new Sunday breakfast show.

"We are excited to welcome Saskia Falken back to the airwaves. Saskia has a unique connection with the people of the Western Cape, and we believe she will bring a fresh yet familiar feel to our Sunday offering," the station's programmer manager Stephen Werner said in a press statement.

Speaking about her return to the airwaves, Saskia, who is also senior marketing manager for Primedia in Cape Town, said she was "unable to resist returning to my first love."

"Sundays in Cape Town represents family time, an opportunity to unwind, and renew energies for the week ahead and most importantly starting your day with a city staple: koeksisters and coffee. I look forward to welcoming the Kfm audience into 'easy Sunday mornings'," she added.

Sunday Breakfast with Saskia Falken will take place from 07:00 to 10:00, followed by Sunday with Brandon Leigh from 10:00 to 15:00.

Tim Thathebe then takes over between 15:00 and 19:00, and finally KFM Sunday Love Songs with Mamohau Seseane commences from 19:00 until 22:00.
