Speaking to True Love Magazine, Somizi Mhlongo and Mohale Motaung said that they've not been able to "enjoy their relationship in peace" due to continuous reports that their relationship is on the rocks.

Despite rumours of trouble in paradise, True Love reports that the couple "are still very much married and head over heels in love".

In January, SANEF called for action against Somizi, after he insulted two journalists and posted their personal contact information on Instagram, following enquiry about his marriage to Mohale.

"Mohale and I have never split," says Somizi about recent reports that Mohale moved out of the matrimonial home - adding that they are lucky to have several homes to "retreat to" if they choose not to be in each other's space.

Mohale says that every couple experiences rough patches and that they try never to forget why they fell in love during the "low points".

To naysayers who have accused Mohale of only being with Somizi because of his money, Somizi says that if it were true, it would take a serious gold-digger to "stomach" him. I'm a handful, he says.

"He works for his money, he never asks for money, and that's the truth," says Somizi.
