In the final episode of the fifth season of his reality show, Living the Dream with Somizi, Somizi Mhlongo said, "I will never be shaken again."

The Idols SA judge said this in a confessional as he reflected on the numerous times he made headlines over the past year. Mhlongo made headlines for various reasons, including his widely talked about divorce from Mohale Motaung and the allegations of abuse that were leveled against him through a leaked audio recording.

"My life is a lesson," he said.

During the episode, Mhlongo also hosted an Eat, Pray, Love event. He said the event gave him an opportunity to meditate and pray more.

The media personality also received his redesigned wedding ring which he said was a sign of his love and commitment to himself.

Earlier in the season, Mhlongo approached the ring makers to redesign his wedding ring after his marriage failed. Mhlongo said returning to "where it all started" somewhat gave him the closure he did not know he needed.

In the episode, he also spoke about how he was "triggered" by the sudden death of rapper Riky Rick by suicide earlier this year during a conversation with his close friend and musician Vusi Nova. The famous choreographer also shared that he almost went down the same path.

"I have been on the verge of committing suicide," he said. "I have known, maybe 50% of what that darkness feels like, so it triggered me."

Mhlongo also let viewers in on what happened behind the scenes of the cover shoot he, his daughter Bahumi and her mother and actor Palesa Madisakwane had with True Love magazine. He said the shoot and pictures thereof were "the best inheritance" for his daughter as he wished he had photos with his late parents, Mary Twala and Ndaba Mhlongo.

The Ntandane maker also had a traditional ceremony at his home in KwaZulu-Natal. Mhlongo said he was happy he did it when he said he would.

He also shared with his friends that he had found love again. Mhlongo said the unnamed man, who was "extremely" into him, wanted to be private, has a career and holds a "high position," has a house and a car.

At the end of the episode Mhlongo said that the biggest highlight of season five "is that I am getting married again."
