Marisia deletes breakup post and takes 'social media holiday'
After removing an Instagram post in which she announced her split from Marc Buckner, The Bachelor SA contestant Marisia van Wyk has now decided to take a "social media holiday".
In an Instagram Story on Friday, Marisia revealed that she would be taking a break from social media. This after deleting a cryptic post about her relationship status with Marc.
"When I put my hands in yours one day, I'll know that I can pack away my map, knowing that my search for you is over," Marisia wrote. When someone in the comments questioned whether or not she was still with Marc, the 24-year-old said no, adding that they "haven't been for a while".
Marisia subsequently blocked Marc on Instagram, with Marc telling YOU that he did not see Marisia's post: "She's blocked me. I can't talk about this now. I have a lot to process."
However, a quick search on the app revealed that the pair once again follow each other.
Speaking to Channel24 on Wednesday, Marisia said she was "not ready" to open up to the media just yet, but would release a statement. Channel24 also reached out to Marc, but did not receive any feedback. Neither Marc or Marisia has released an official statement.
Replying to a comment on Instagram, Marc told one follower: "I have moved to my moms. Crashing on the floor now."
Channel24 also reached out to M-Net for comment. The channel did not give an official statement.
