The thesis was submitted as part of the requirements for the star's honours degree in film and television production.

Zimbabwean-born online star sparks interest from Kim Kardashian, Nicki Minaj

2017-09-08 07:45 Cape Town - We caught up with Zimbabwean-born social media sensation, Dylan Kardashian (born Dylan Musanhu), about getting regrammed by Nicki Minaj and how Iggy Azalea got his Instagram taken down. The rising social media star has a combined social media following of well over 200 000 and not only are our local celebs taking notice, international stars are taking note too.

Tweeting about it, Dylan said: "I wrote my dissertation on Celebrity Culture discussing the Kardashian/Jenner Klan & I remember in my tutorial, my lecturer (Kim - her real name btw) got skeptic on me addressing @KimKardashian as 'Kim' because 'I don't know her personally'. [sic]"

Besides snaps of his paper, Dylan also shared a picture of himself in a graduation cap and gown.

In case his social media name has not given it away, Dylan has always had a soft spot for the Kardashians, even attending the Keeping Up With The Kardashians 10th anniversary launch party in London in 2017.

Other than being a Kardashian fan, Dylan also works closely with SA celeb Khanyi Mbau who commented on his Twitter post, saying that she is "proud" of him.
