In an Instagram post dedicated to her mother, Zindziswa Mandela, Zoleka Mandela wrote: "If I just had 1 more day with you, this time, I'd love you better."

Zindzi, the youngest daughter of former president Nelson Mandela and Winnie Madikizela-Mandela, died on 13 July at the age of 59.

Zoleka shared a post remembering her mother on Instagram, revealing that it's "been 11 months" since they've spoken.

Zoleka broke her 2-month social media silence with a heartwarming post remembering her mother. 

The emotional video collage is set to Kenny Rogers' 1999 song, Loving Arms and shows several intimate family moments caught on camera. 

"It's been 11 months since we last spoke, 2 months since your passing ... If I just had 1 more day with you, this time, I'd love you better," she captioned the post.

"Wow babe. As a country we were so preoccupied that we couldn't really take a moment to celebrate her life and mourn with you properly. Uxolo. Dudu," wrote Pearl Thusi in the comment section.
