3 Oscar-winning movies to watch tonight

Cape Town – The nominations for the 92nd Academy Awards have caused quite a stir since its announcement on Monday.

While this year's nominees still wait it out for that coveted gold statuette have a movie night with some the 2019 Oscar winners.

From the controversial Best Picture winner, to Best Original Song, to Best Director  - here are some of the Academy's best.

Green Book (Best Picture) - DStv Now

A Star is Born (Best Original Song) - Showmax

The third remake of the 1930s classic, this modern retelling of a Star is Born tells the story of a troubled and ageing rock star, named Jackson “Jack” Maine, who finds a new lease on life when he discovers a promising young singer/songwriter, Ally, by accidentally and drunkenly stumbling into the drag bar where she has a regular spot covering other people’s songs. Roma (Best Director) - Netflix

Alfonso Cuarón delivers a vivid, emotional portrait of a domestic worker's journey set against domestic and political turmoil in 19702 Mexico.
