Alec Baldwin has announced that he will be interviewing controversial filmmaker Woody Allen.
The 64-year-old said in a video on Instagram: "This coming Tuesday. The 28th, I'm going to be an Instagram Live with Woody Allen. Who I love. I love you Woody."
Allen was recently the subject of an HBO docuseries, Allen vs Farrow. The four-part series follows the accusation of sexual abuse against Woody Allen involving Dylan Farrow, his then 7-year-old daughter with Mia Farrow, their subsequent custody battle, and the revelation of the filmmaker's relationship with Mia's daughter, Soon-Yi, and the controversial aftermath in the years that followed.
In an interview with CBS in March last year, the 86-year-old slammed the docuseries, saying it is "riddled with falsehoods".
Alongside the announcement, Baldwin wrote: "Let me preface this by stating that I have zero interest in anyone's judgments and sanctimonious posts here. I am obviously someone who has my own set of beliefs and could not care less about anyone else's speculation."
"If you believe that a trial should be conducted by way of an HBO documentary, that's your issue," he ended the caption.
