Apple announced that a new TV series based on South African author Lauren Beukes' novel The Shining Girls is in the works.
Emmy award-winning actress Elisabeth Moss will star in, and executive produce alongside Leonardo DiCaprio.
Elisabeth will play a Chicago reporter who survived a brutal assault only to find her reality shifts as she hunts down the attacker.
Silka Luisa (Strange Angel) will write the adaptation and serve as executive producer and showrunner.
Lauren shared the exciting news on Twitter. She wrote: "You guys! This news I have been sitting on for ages just dropped, and I am so excited."

The 2013 book centres on a time-travelling Depression-era drifter who must murder the "shining girls" to continue his travels.
It won numerous awards including the UJ Prize for South Africa Writing in English, the RT Thriller of the Year, Exclusive Books' Readers Choice Award and The Strand Magazine Critics Best Novel Award.
