After being postponed numerous times due to the coronavirus pandemic, Wonder Woman finally makes her return. Game of Thrones actor Pedro Pascal plays one of the iconic villains in the movie, a role he says was more challenging than Shakespeare. Wonder Woman: 1984 releases in South African cinemas on Wednesday, 16 December. Here's what Channel24's Film and TV Editor Leandra Engelbrecht suggests you watch this week.

WONDER WOMAN'S NEW VILLAIN

Pedro Pascal is having quite the year. The Chilean actor has new-found fame starring alongside Baby Yoda in Disney+'s The Mandalorian, and to cap things off he will be playing one of the villains in the long-awaited Wonder Woman sequel.
