- The pandemic is definitely making these celebs rethink how they'll spend Christmas.
- Annika Noelle, who plays Hope, will even be hanging a stocking for her cat!
- The best gift Kiara Barnes ever received was one she gave herself.
It will be a social-distancing Christmas for most of the Bold and the Beautiful actors this year, but they are still doing their best to bring some cheer into their lives. Here's what some of them will be getting up to.

I always decorate a Christmas tree at home and get together with family and friends. I love cooking delicious holiday dishes and exchanging gifts. Staying close to my loved ones, especially my kids and grandkids, and of course, my partner in life (and business), Dom. Even though my children are a bit older now, we all still exchange gifts, although this year may be different due to Covid-19. It's not a normal year. But we have to do what we must to stay safe so that we can enjoy Christmases for many years to come.
Last year we threw a big party at our house for Christmas. It was attended by many great friends who were in town from all over the world. There was such a great energy. It felt like a creative time for renewal and celebration. I really felt like that positive energy pushed us forward through this year, so that even though it was a tough year, we were able to carry out bold plans to bring to life our personal creative projects, especially opening our new boutique Benheart USA in Beverly Hills.
I won't be making any New Year resolutions. I'm more of a "take it one day at a time" person. Thinking long-term is only theoretical, but if you can successfully make it through the challenges of a single day, then you can repeat that success each day after that, then keep going, on and on.
Annika Noelle (Hope)
I'm having a California Christmas this year. Maybe some Christmas lights on the balcony outside, a smaller tree for the apartment and stockings for both me and The Burritoman (my cat). I have now started a tradition of buying a holiday ornament every time I visit somewhere new, so my Christmas tree has become a wonderful kind of memory box full of places I've travelled to.
I grew up in New England, so I miss the seasons like crazy living in California. My dream way to spend Christmas would definitely be experiencing some sort of winter wonderland. Maybe a trip to Iceland or Norway to experience the Aurora Borealis. Climb an iceberg. Go cross-country skiing. And end the day with a cup of hot cocoa snuggled up by the fireside. That sounds like a dream to me.
I'm a big fan of Christmas decorations. My birthday also falls on Christmas Eve, so it's a very special time for me. I loved to decorate the tree when I was younger. It was an honour to get to hang up certain ornaments like the gummy bear, Barbie, or Santa Claus. I also loved setting out the carrots for the reindeer and cookies for Santa the night before Christmas. Plus, nothing beats Christmas lights covered in snow.
I love a home-cooked big holiday meal … as long as I'm not the one cooking! Trust me. You don't want me in your kitchen. My family knows that, and they are happy to sit me in front of the TV watching football to avoid any potential cooking mishaps (I'm happy to volunteer to clean up the dishes though!). And I think this year, that is what I'm most nostalgic for. I miss the big family gatherings when you didn't have to worry about safety and social distancing. But 2020 is a whole new world, and this year it will end with a small quiet Christmas at home.
I always make New Year resolutions. It's the thought and intention that counts. I enjoy the metaphor of a fresh start and a clean slate for the New Year, so I always try to get off on the right foot. Whether or not I go to the gym as often as I wanted to though… that's another story.
Kiara Barnes (Zoe)
This year I had a socially distanced Thanksgiving! An adjustment for sure, but the best way to keep safe.
What I'm looking forward to most over the Christmas and New Year holiday are the Christmas traditions. The movies and songs are my favourite parts of the holidays. That, and hot chocolate. Yum!
The best gift I've ever received is probably my kitty Luna. Though it was a gift I got for myself, it's still one of my favourites. I don't know how I went this long without her.
When it comes to New Year resolutions, I always put an intention out there to keep an open heart and an open mind. It's great to start each new year with a loving perspective on caring for yourself and others.
Lawrence Saint-Victor (Carter)
I'll just be staying home and enjoying time with my family this year. We usually travel to New York and Michigan, but due to the pandemic, we'll be staying home. We'll be Zooming a lot with family.
I love giving gifts. This is my favourite time of year. The best gift I've ever given my wife was a combined Christmas/birthday gift, because her birthday is also in December. I gave her a day full of surprises. I took her to a museum, wine tasting, a musical, gave her gifts, and ate at a nice restaurant, all in one day. This year, I also plan to spoil my son. Spoil him rotten.
I'm not really into New Year resolutions. I try to grow daily. I'm more of a baby-step guy than a huge declaration giver.
