Cape Town – Netflix released a new teaser trailer for the upcoming third season of Stranger Things

The 1 minute clip revealed the titles of the eight episodes with the logline: “In the summer of 1985, the adventure continues.”

The series will be released on the streaming service sometime in 2019.

While details of the season remains under wraps Netflix's VP of original series Cindy Holland said during a press tour earlier this year that it is going to be a fantastic season.

“There are more special effects and I think it's gonna be a really exciting season, but it just takes a little more time,” reports E Online

Speaking about the upcoming season David Harbour who play Chief Jim Hopper said executive producer Shawn Levy calls the upcoming season will be darker, scarier, bigger and broader.

The actor told Variety that the third season is inspired by Chevy Chase's 1985 comedy Fletch.

In July the show teased a trailer with an advert of a new mall coming to Hawkins.
