  • kykNET has revealed the cast of the fourth season of its anthology series, Spoorloos.
  • Spoorloos: Die eiland is set on a fictional island where many mysteries must be solved.
  • Joining Bobby van Jaarsveld is Izel Bezuidenhout, Armand Aucamp, Ilse Klink, Brendon Daniles and more.


A woman disappears, ghosts from the past come back, and a mystery must be solved. This and much more is what can be expected from the fourth season of Spoorloos, which promises to keep viewers on the edge of their seats.

Spoorloos: Die eiland starts on Tuesday, 19 July at 20:00 on kykNET (DStv 144).

Popular Afrikaans singer Bobby van Jaarsveld makes his debut in the drama series as Stefan Claasen, an architect whose life is thrown upside down when he bumps into a long-lost love. Before he knows it, he is part of a web of deceit. Bobby was previously seen in the films As jy sing and Liefling, the kykNET comedy Mense mense, and he was a coach on the reality series The Voice

Izel Bezuidenhout plays Emma Eloff, the woman who stole Stefan’s heart years ago and then suddenly re-appears in his life when he least expects it. Izel is known for her roles in the films Dis ek, Anna, Dominee Tienie, Vaselinetjie and Flatland.

Armand Aucamp, who won viewers hearts as Tom Niemand in the kykNET drama series Die Boekklub, is Lucas Eloff, Emma’s husband. Armand is seen in the Showmax series Troukoors and was previously in the kykNET drama series Knapsekêrels and the films Krotoa and Ballade vir ’n Enkeling. He is the founder of the dating app KOER and writer of two cookbooks.

Tiaan Slabbert, known for his work on stage and a Naledi winner, is Phillip Naudé, Stefan’s best friend. Tiaan is the owner of an educational children’s theatre company, What Walrus? and was seen on television in Getroud met Rugby, Knapsekêrels and the kykNET Storiefilms Kansel, Ongepoets and Boetie ontmoet ‘n alien (on air 30 July).

Spoorloos: Die eiland is Leché Joubert’s first role in a drama series, and she plays Stefan’s fiancée. Some of her acting credits include the film Vergeet my nie and the Storiefilm ‘n Duisend woorde. She is also a voice artist and can be heard as various characters in Die Sneeukoningin 3.

Deon Coetzee, known for his roles in Agter elke man, Egoli: Plek van Goud and Binnelanders is Freek Lambrecht, Emma's father. He works as a foreman for Lucas.

Marisa Drummond is Cobie Lambrecht, Freek’s wife and Emma’s stepmother. Marisa is not only an actor known for her roles in Elke skewe pot and Getroud met rugby, but also a writer, director and producer.

Hannes van Wyk, the popular presenter of Kwêla and Hannes aan huis, is a professor in marine biology in Spoorloos: Die eiland. Hannes has a long list of accomplishments on stage, film and television that include Waterfront, Lui maar op, Belinda and Fynskrif and Voor ek vergeet, a stage play starring Hannes and Amanda Strydom that was adapted into a Storiefilm. Hannes is also the box producer at Suidooster.

Belinda Paige, the mother of Stefan’s young son, Lenny, is played by Robyn Rossouw, who was seen in Legacy, Arendsvlei and Sara se Geheim.

Veteran actor Ilse Klink, known for Skemerdans, Diamond City, Arendsvlei and Nêrens Noord-Kaap, to name a few, is Belinda’s mother, Melanie, who is making the world a difficult place for Stefan.

Brendon Daniels is George Paige, Melanie’s husband and Robyn’s father. Brendon is a well known face on kykNET with Valllei van Sluiers, Die Boland Moorde, Sara se Geheim, Skemerdans and Arendsvlei on his list of credits.

Esmeralda Bihl and Donovan Pietersen play mother and son, Sylvia and Dylan September. Esmeralda was seen in A place called home, Scandal, Riemvasmaak and Binnelanders and Donovan is known for his roles in Getroud met Rugby, Kamer 6 and Baby Mamas.
